Cecilia Booth is a visual artist who paints landscapes, waterscapes, abstracts, dreamscapes and portraits. She has live theatre, film, TV, design and display experience in prop building, painting,
printing, mask making, beading, faux finishing and scenic
painting. Cecilia also illustrates the local newsletter
The Pocket makes decorative ceramic masks, gift
cards and jewellery. Cecilia's props have appeared in Toronto productions of The Phantom of the Opera, Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, The Lion King and many other Toronto shows.
Versatility is key to Cecilia's creativity. You can request
any specific genre mentioned on her website. For example
landscapes, portraits including your children or your pet as subjects, theatre props, abstracts, masks, clocks, jewellery, cards, watercolours, wood paintings, face or body painting or images reflecting other people's dreams.
Cecilia is thrilled to have her first feature interview in the October 2007 edition of International Art Treasures Web Magazine. Cecilia says, "I think the article captures the essence of my work in the arts and in theatre very well indeed."
Colour prints of most of Cecilia's artworks are available. Standard sizes are:
- Small: 32 x 24 cm $30.00
- Large: 42 x 27 cm $45.00
If you need different print sizes Cecilia will do her best to accommodate you.
Cecilia is able to create greeting cards from most of her
artwork. The cost is $3.00 per card. Just send an email.
